The Ultimate Bank Robbers

Monday, April 26th, 2010

Who are the ultimate bank robbers in life and business? Indecision goes to the top of my list. I’m sure you’ve been in situations where you simply have no idea what direction to go, or what you should do. We all have.

Making decisions is just a part of life. But indecision can be one of the biggest bank robbers of all.

One of my favorite quotes that has always stuck with me over the years is by Andy Andrews, “Successful people make their decisions quickly, and change their minds slowly. Unsuccessful people make their decisions slowly and change their minds quickly.”

There’s a business idea – have a booth in town: “$20, and I’ll make a decision for you.” Like a kissing booth. Only worse.

“Should I marry her?”

“No.”

“Okay thanks so much.”

“Next!”

Just kidding.

But keep in mind that choosing to let someone else make decisions for you, is also a decision, in and of itself. Choose wisely. At the end of the day, you are still the responsible party.

Here’s One Way To Make Decisions Quickly

Generally speaking, if I don’t absolutely love something, the answer is no. This makes decisions quick and easy, and you don’t waste time on mediocrity, and end up saying to yourself, “Dang it! I knew this isn’t what I wanted from the start.”

I am super picky because normally have a crystal clear idea of what I want in my head, and I will not stop until I find it. I’d rather have nothing, than the thing I have envisioned in my head.

I feel like if I’m going to dive into something, I’ve got to do it 200%. But sometimes, that little bank robber named “In.D.ecision” (he’s also a gangster), creeps up. So I came up with this cool trick that works like magic.

Instead of doing nothing and sitting there being indecisive, tell yourself, “Okay, while I’m deciding, I’m going to choose the thing that I feel is MOST right, and then just chill out and start working on that.”  9 times out of 10, because you’ve made less “drama” out of it, your brain relaxes, and then almost like lightening, you know EXACTLY what you should or should not be doing. You’re tricking yourself into making a decision and taking action.

Next, remember the grass is always greener on the other side. If you’re thinking you’re going to “miss out” on something, than tell yourself, “fine, go do it.” And start taking action on it. All the sudden you might start thinking, “This is NOT the way to go.” Cool. Now you know because you took ACTION.

See, it’s easy to speculate how things could, would or should be, if you made decision A, B or C. However, many times we spend so much time just THINKING about which one we should do, we could have already tried out A in the same amount of time.

Then you KNOW that’s not the right way to go, instead of wondering. Like, “Am I going to like banana flavored ice cream?” Well, I don’t know. But we could think about it for a long time. Let’s see….. what do bananas normally taste like? Hmm, do I like bananas normally? Well, only with peanut butter. Well, is this going to be the same as bananas, or is it going to be nasty banana flavor – like that ring pop I had one time when I was 5 that was banana, but was super gross.”

Just take a bite. You’ll know in 1 second whether you like it or not.

So then when In.D.ecision comes along with his friend D.enial – you’ve got to have your A game on, and be aware.

I think it’s funny to look back on situations and decisions, and when things don’t go how you thought they would, you see that you really knew the answer from the start. You just chose not to listen to yourself. Many times, indecision is caused by not listening to yourself, or having the ability to be straight with yourself. D.enial

Like when you date someone, and in your first date you think, “Hmm, now that doesn’t sit right.” But you’re like, “Weee! Whatever. This is fun.” All of the sudden two years have passed, and you end up breaking up for the EXACT same thing you saw on day one. But now everyone’s mad, hurt and crying.

I’ve made some awesomely stupid decisions in my life, but I’ve also made a lot of very good ones. I suppose they wouldn’t be 100% stupid, because I did learn a lot. I have a tendency to go at things 180 mph. So when I crash, I get some pretty nice bruises. Thank the Lord I have a sense of humor. On the flip side, going at things 180 mph means when the decisions are good, the results are stellar.

Decisions like – “Hey Mr. Grocery Man, where are the bananas?” – or “Hey Mr. Taxi Cab Driver, how do I get to Fifth Avenue?” that’s just leveraging other peoples’ knowledge. Be careful though – being decisive or indecisive becomes a habit, very quickly.

“Hey Bob, what about this?”

“I like A”

“Okay then what about x, y, z, or q?”

“Ummm, q”

“Yeah, you know I really liked q too. That’s what Jane picked. She’s makes good decisions. Should I make her CEO?”

“Yes.”

“Okay.”

Obviously that’s a little dramatic, but you get the idea. It’s crazy how quickly decisions can snowball.

The answers to some of life’s toughest questions aren’t going to come from someone else. I do believe in doing your due diligence and constantly learning and devouring new information, but you have your intuition for a reason.

The scary part is, you don’t realize how important decisions can be at the time. You just thought it was a little decision, and that it was okay to rely on someone else. You don’t realize it was a monumental decision, until it’s run it’s course, and made an impact in your life, good or bad.

In Internet Marketing everyone talks about “not reinventing the wheel” etc… And I agree on some accounts. Like “Hey why don’t I try and reverse engineer all of Google’s algorithms this Saturday! You bring the popcorn I’ll bring the calculator!” I would say that’s not the most efficient use of your time. Unless that’s your thing.

Also understand that many times the only people telling you not to reinvent the wheel, are saying that only because they want you to buy their wheel, or because now you become a spoke in their wheel. Which is not always a bad thing. Hey, they invested their time and dollars into making the wheel, and you don’t have to rebuild it, so that’s more than fair. Leverage is amazing.

But why not make your own kind of wheel?

Don’t be afraid to listen to yourself, be decisive and TAKE ACTION on your own ideas. Everyone online is following everyone else around online. Do something different. You’ll stick out in a great way. But that’s a whole other topic. The point is to DECIDE and ACT.

Action is therapeutic. Do SOMETHING in the direction of your dreams.

That “something” can turn into “something amazing.”

Don’t let the gangsters get you down. Be decisive and follow through with fire.

The First Step To Creating Killer Marketing Campaigns (that most marketers miss)

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Last week I kicked off a special series at Marketing Happy Hour: “10 Ways To Drive Traffic Outside of PPC.” The call was jam-packed, and we covered a ton of material. In each of the 10 ways we’re diving into, the first step is always clearly defining who you’re marketing to. But their often lies a huge gap between who we THINK we’re targeting, and how this is actually being IMPLEMENTED.

So often I’ll ask home business owners or internet marketers who they’re targeted, and they’ll say “People who want to make more money.” Okay, as I’ve mentioned before, that’s almost everyone on earth. You want to narrow it down much more.

And here’s the biggest component: You want to make sure your sales funnel is congruent with who you’re targeting across the board:

Ad Copy > Landing Page > Sales Letter > Thank You Page > Backend Sales > Email Followups

Let’s put it in in perspective: “People who want to make more money” include:

  • Real Estate investor looking to charge up his cash flow with an extra $5M in 2010
  • 16 year old willing to mow lawns for two months to get a new skateboard
  • People who want to make an extra $50 a week by filling out online surveys
  • People who want to learn how to be a day trader
  • Real estate agents looking for sell more houses
  • Retirees looking to supplement their savings
  • College graduates looking to make some extra cash outside their mailroom job
  • Current franchise owners looking for an alternative
  • Former MLM’rs looking for a new business
  • A farmer looking for more cost-effective ways to sell beyond his local market

and the list goes on and on and on…

Each of the people in the above list is “looking to make more money.” But each of them has different values, different goals and respond to different marketing angles and language.

There’s no way you’d be able to run a campaign which targets all of these people, yet converts at the highest possible rate. Sometimes it’s easy to become scared that you’re “missing out” on some of the market, and as a result you try to target a very wide audience. What happens is no one responds, because your marketing, websites, copy, autoresponder, are not targeting anyone in particular. As a result, none of your traffic feels like you’re talking to them, which is essential for anything to convert.

Your traffic needs to have that feeling of, “This is totally me, yeah, that’s what I struggle with.” When done properly, especially in copywriting, it produces a feeling of rapport with your prospect, where again, they feel like the website was written exactly for them. That’s when you get killer optin-rates. That’s when purchasing your product or service becomes a “no-brainer” for your prospects.

To start, you want to write up one page about your target prospect. This should be one person. Take the time to write out what’s important to them, their values, their history, the language they use, what they truly aspire to be, where they hang out, what they do for fun. And if you have no idea where to start, use yourself. That’s one target prospect you’ll be sure to hit.

Once you have the page done, then you can use this as a reference point for all your future marketing.

This will save you a TON of time. Think about how much time you spend asking yourself these types of questions:

  • What domain should I use?
  • What ad copy should I use?
  • What headline should I use?
  • What storyline should I use?
  • What email subject line should I use?
  • What about the body of the email?
  • What type of language should I use?

If you know exactly who you’re targeting, what their core values are, and what they are REALLY after, it makes all the day to day decisions required to put together killer marketing campaigns, faster and more productive.

For step-by-step “How-to” info, join me on tonight’s Marketing Happy Hour as we continue our special series of “10 Ways To Drive Traffic Outside of PPC.” Get on the Happy Hour list HERE.

No Love From Google? Here, Have Some of Mine: 10 Ways To Drive Traffic (part one)

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

Google Adwords is undoubtedly one of the best ways to drive large volumes of targeted traffic to your website. It’s also one of the fastest ways to test what the market wants, and what they respond to. But if you’re one of the thousands of Internet Marketers who’s been used and abused by Google, here are 10 other ways to drive traffic, while you’re waiting and begging for Google to take your money.

And before we kick off the list, I want to provide a recommendation to you – check out www.JimYaghi.com. If there’s one person I would recommend for Adwords, he’s it. Plus you’ll get some good entertainment. Marketers with ZERO B.S. are hard to come by, which is why I like reading Jim’s stuff. And he’s funnier than hell.

Slaps or no slaps, it would be in your best interest to educate yourself about PPC. You’ll learn principles that you can apply to any of other form of marketing, regardless if you choose to actually use PPC in the future (and I hope you do).

Here’s 5 (out of the recommended 10) other ways to drive traffic – each of which I’ve personally used and know that anyone with a small amount of motivation and marketing savvy, can make work.

1. Article Marketing
Content is still king in my book. I’ve been preaching to the moon about content marketing for the last 3 years, because unlike Google adwords, if you do it right, your content stays in the search engines and can continue bringing you high quality for a long time (awesome).

2. Press Release Marketing
Another killer form of content marketing that delivers incredible results when done right. Some of my campaigns have brought in an average of $50K per press release. (results obviously NOT typical, but I try to veer away from the typical in life. I have only a minute tolerance for anything vanilla. Unless it’s whip cream, but that’s a discussion for another day. I have a serious addiction to whip cream).

3. Banner Advertising
Did something get raised from the dead? Maybe. Banner advertising is cool because you can plan out your marketing for a few months at a time. It takes a little bit of research on the front end, but once you find sites that perform, bringing in leads that convert, you can attract super targeted traffic that’s consistent (yay!)

4. Social Media
You may not get the same volume of traffic as you would with Adwords unless you’re Justin Bieber (either I’m really old, or he’s 10 pretending to be 16), but if done right, YES, you CAN generate leads on social media. A majority of the leads I generate come from social media. It’s not rocket science – you have to sell something real, be a real person, and FOLLOW THROUGH (and not be an annoying spammer pitching stuff like “Make a million dollars by just staring at the letter A on your computer”). Also, social media leads need to go through a different sales process than more direct response leads (like Adwords), but it’s something you can learn to do effectively that can work for you.

5. SEO
This is another great form of driving traffic, which is why even mediocre people command $500+ an hour – all I can say here is #1 – do NOT “buy” from anyone who says they’re going to “optimize” your site for like $500 and you’ll be on page 1 in two weeks. And #2 – educate yourself properly.

Just those 5 are enough to keep you busy, but I’ve got another 5 killer ways to drive traffic without Adwords, coming down the pipeline, so stay tuned.

If you want additional “how-to” info on the above methods, join tonight’s Marketing Happy Hour Call – be ready to take notes. To get on the list now go to http://MarketingHappyHour.com and I’ll see you there!

Getting Run Over By a Truck = Awesome (?)

Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

Okay, no one got run over by a truck, but sometimes when life changes, I know it can feel like it. And sometimes, it feels like a truck is running over you, but only going 1 MPH. Yeah! Awesome! (not)

And then after all is said and done, you realize (if you’re able to be straight with yourself) that you were the one driving the truck. You had a little remote control that told the truck “Run Over Me!”

“Cool Natalie. Trucks. Yeah”

So what the hell am I talking about? Change.

It’s human nature to want things to be constant and routine.

Yeah, we all like to throw our hands in the air and say “Ra ra! I’m totally spontaneous! I love change! Bring it on!” Well, I’m not talking about hopping on a plane and going to a foreign country, or going to the OTHER Starbucks or getting a mohawk (I like to rock a mohawk sometimes, rar. The fangs are courtesy of istock).  Natalie with a MoHawk

I’m talking about change that makes you question who you are, and every single thing you do. Have you seen the movie Shutter Island? I’m talking about change that makes you feel like you’re Leonardo DiCaprio, who can’t tell if he’s really investigating a mental institution, or if he’s really a patient there.

Going through that type of change down right stinks. No argument there. Been there. Got the t-shirt.

But what doesn’t stink, and what’s not lame, is the person you become as a result of the change.

You know when you walk into someone’s house and it smells like someone had indigestion problems, and then they say, “Oh sorry, I was making eggs.” If you didn’t realize it was eggs, you’d probably never go over there again. Or you’d ask to meet in a windy park next time.

Sometimes in life, we create situations that stink like eggs.

And even though they stink, it’s the fuel that makes us stronger, keeps us going, and helps us kick major ass in life.

Trucks? Eggs? So what do you do when you get demolished by a truck full of stinky eggs?

Here’s a few tricks that work pretty darn good:

(and by the way, these are things that help with MAJOR life changes. If you accidentally got a bad hair cut, or cold latte, these aren’t necessary)

1. Understand that you have the remote control.
You can choose to make that truck go fast, and just get over it, or go slow, and make a big drama about it. Understand that whatever you give more attention to in life, becomes more. This includes pain and joy. If you need to get upset, be angry, cool. Just do it fast. And be done. Life is too fun for meaningless drama.

2.  Check Out How Awesome You Are!
We all have talents and things that totally ROCK about us. The problem is, 97% of people don’t see it, or aren’t confident enough to do anything about it. So the first step is recognizing that you rock. Make a list of all your accomplishments everyday. And if you’re going through a really tough time, here’s what your list might look like:
a. Got out of bed – check
b. Ate breakfast – check
c. Took out the trash – check
d. Got a little work done – check
e. Am still alive – awesome

Now, this sounds silly. But what you’re doing is cultivating the feeling of success. So whatever you’ve done that is a success, however small, it’s important to recognize it. This will give you some positive energy to fuel more positive action. Obviously you want to get past putting “getting out of bed” on your list, but you’ve got to start where you are.

So if you’re just starting a business, here’s what it might look like:
a. Got my blog up
b. Wrote a post
c. Made new friends on Facebook
d. Generating my first lead
e. made my first sale

After just a couple weeks, you’ll be amazed at the difference this silly little exercise will make in your life and in your outlook.

And keep in mind, I’m not talking about taking over the universe here, I just want to provide some inspiration and tools to those of you that got run over by the stinky egg truck recently.

3. Do One Thing
You’re going to just focus on doing ONE thing every day, that will move you closer to your goals. That’s it. One thing. Like they say, “how do you eat an elephant?” “one bite at a time” But it’s true. Soon that one thing will be two, then three, and ten. But to start, just commit to doing one thing each day that will move you closer to your goals.

4. Laugh
Learning to laugh at myself has been by far, one of the most useful tools in achieving success. You really can’t take yourself too seriously. It’s a lot of wasted effort. You can certainly be amazingly committed to what you do in life, and being the best that you can be, but learn to laugh during the most difficult circumstances. It will do wonders for you.

5. Be Nice to Yourself
Ahhhh, Natalie’s being warm and fuzzy :) But seriously. Be nice to yourself. If you’re not, no one else will be. You deserve good things in life. You deserve to be happy, and you deserve to succeed. Telling yourself how much you screwed up and how big of a loser you are, will get you no where. Sure it might feel good to be a martyr for like 2.3 seconds, but really, move on. No one likes a party pooper.

Learn to be your own biggest fan and others will follow. Try it! It Really works! (no that’s not an annoying facebook application)

And for those of you that would like some “Jack-Ass” type entertainment to make you laugh, here’s a 10 second video of my first time skateboarding (watch out Tony Hawk). Luckily, I did not run into my mother. Just the pavement.

Jedi Mind Trick #2: Fail Fast To Succeed Faster

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

Hurry up and Fail!

Did I say hurry up and fail? Yep. Okay, it’s about time for Wealthy Jedi Mind Trick #2. It’s long overdue, so here we go.

Wealthy Jedi Mind Trick #2: Fail Fast to Succeed Faster

It’s all too easy to get stuck trying to “get it right” before we actually take action on something. We all want to make things the best they can possibly be, but sometimes this can stop you from getting anything accomplished. There’s a balance between making things the best you can, and just getting it out there and taking action. You can get stuck in perfecting something because you are afraid of getting it wrong. But when you really think about it, getting it right usually involves getting it wrong a bunch of times anyways.

Some people might disagree with me and say plan, plan plan plan. Planning is important. But it’s useless without doing something with it. I bet you I can figure out what keywords rank better, just by getting some quick articles out there, rather than doing 10 days of highly analytical keyword research.

I say “Hurry Up And Fail” because the faster you figure out what doesn’t work, the faster you know what does work. Sometimes there are definite short-cuts, and by that I mean working smarter. But most of the time successful people achieve success simply because they are willing to do what the majority of people are not.

They’re willing to take action, to get numbers, to see what works. It’s like when I first started my entrepreneurial career…selling cookies when I was 8. So the first neighbor didn’t want to buy any of my cookies. “Hmm, maybe my cookies stink,” I thought, “Maybe I should go home. Maybe people don’t want my cookies.” Well, I finally said to myself, “who cares if Crazy Cat Lady doesn’t want my cookies, I’ll go knock on the next door. And the next, and the next, and the next. And by the end of the day, all the cookies were gone, and I had enough to go buy some sparkly craft supplies.

In so many aspects of life, success is simply a numbers game:
The first time you met someone, was it the love of your life? Probably not.
The first time I played the piano, was it a Liszt Concerto? Umm, more like Chopsticks version 0.01
When kids first learn to ride a bike, do they look like Lance Armstrong? Of course not.

But you get to a point where each of these activities turn into a success, because you’re not afraid to fail, and “run the numbers,” and figure out what works.

For example, if I just stared at sheet music all day, and then expected to sit down and play something amazing without ever practicing, well good luck to me.

On the outside people say, “Oooo, you’re so lucky, I wish I could play like that. That must be so nice for you.”

Luck has little to do with it. Here’s what it does have to do with:

Start with the first measure, and play it right 50 times before I move onto the second one. And then after I get the first and second measure right, I’m going to play them together 50 times, and move onto the 3rd. There’s about 20 measures on a page, 60 pages in total, so 1200 measures in total, 50 times each is playing measures 60,000 times.

Anywhere of 4-6 hours of practicing a day, for the last 24 years. But shhhhh, that’s not glamourous. No one wants to see you sweat. Just make it pretty.

And you know what? They shouldn’t have to. People are here for results. I don’t play piano because it’s so awesome to play scales for people! Wohoo! Heh, no one cares. I want to play something amazing that makes myself and others feel things that can’t be expressed in words. Emotions that we desperately hide from public view because we don’t know what to do with them, our greatest joy and our darkest sadness. That’s the result I’m after.

It’s the same in business. No one wants to see you sweat. And they shouldn’t have to. Trust me, no one’s going to give you a yellow star sticker for working hard. “Work” doesn’t get attention. Results do.

It’s the same with the internet. Everyone wants the results. “Oooo cool! I just sign up here, click here, ding dong DONE, I’m a zillionaire!”

But there’s no “magic pixie dust” to being successful. It’s about putting your gloves on, getting dirty, knowing your might screw up along the way, and getting over it. Fast.

It’s about looking at your business like a science experiment:

Step 1: “So if I send this type of email at this time, here’s what happens: nothing.” – Okay, check. That doesn’t work.
Step 2: “I’ll change this, tweak that, and let’s give another go.” – Okay, check. That does works.

Most people fear the result of Step 1, so they never do it. They are not realizing what is waiting for them after Step 2.

Here’s the best part: Time flies, we all know that. The faster you get started, the faster you will succeed. And after you succeed, it’s amazing to look back and think, “You know what? I’m so glad I took a risk, and did whatever it took to make it work. I would do that 10 times over again.”

Here’s an example I used the other day when coaching a client:

There’s you, and four other entrepreneurs at a starting line. You’re facing an obstacle course. A really hard one that makes “Survivor” look like Girl Scout Camp. But at the finish line is…BUSINESS SUCCESS!

Two of the other contenders say, “I’m not going, what if I break my leg? I don’t have health insurance.”

One of the other contenders says, “Oh they’re filming this?! I’m going to look so dumb, I’ll watch you go, see how you do it, and then I”ll try.”

The fourth says, “Oh, well look at that guy. He’s a runner. It must be easy for him. That’s not fair! This is a conspiracy, I’m not playing! Waa!”

You say, “Screw it. I don’t care if I get all cut up, horribly bruised, and look like a moron, I’m going!”

And when you get to the other side: VICTORY. Do you care about your bruises? What bruises? You can’t even feel them. Your clothes are ruined. Psh, who cares. It’s a t-shirt, you’ll get another.

All of a sudden, everything that appeared to be “such a big deal,” that held everyone else back, is almost non-existent for you in the face of victory.

So hurry up, fail, get over it, rinse and repeat.

I want to see you succeed.

Santa Claus Loves Social Media Too!

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

Happy Holidays!

Whichever wonderful holiday you’re celebrating, I hope you’re going all the way! With snow angels, cookies, trees, food, family, traditions, laughs and the whole “shabang!” And if you’re someone who’s far away from family and friends this holiday season, I want to send you a big fat bag of happy holiday thoughts – send me a note and I’ll write back!

I’ll be heading to Vail with my family Christmas Day. It will likely be the best day of the year as no one is on the mountain (so shhh…. don’t tell). Then we’ll come in after skiing and snowboarding to get warm, open Christmas presents and have a oh-so-tasty Christmas dinner.

Of course the holidays are a great time to unplug, unwind, be with your family and be grateful for all your blessings. But if you’re already gearing up to make 2010 one of your best years yet, stay plugged into Social Media over the holidays. This is probably one of the best opportunities you have to increase your visibility through Social Media by tweeting, uploading photos, and letting the world know what you’re up to. Why? Everyone has more time to be online. So while much of the world is hibernating, now is a great time to get yourself out there.

Besides…think about poor Santa Claus. He’s stuck up in the snowy sky with a bunch of animals and Barbies (but he told me he has Tweet Deck installed into the dashboard of his sleigh). So give him some love, and make a tweet with #Santa and tell him what you’re doing (and what you want for Christmas)!

Happy Holidays!

What’s new with Natalie?

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

I’ve been getting quite a few phone calls and emails lately from people asking, “What’s new? What are you doing?”

So, here’s the scoop:

As you already know, I’ve taken the last few months to completely restructure my business. This has included taking Platinum7 in a new direction, and also becoming laser-focused on what the market wants from me, and how I can ultimately, best serve you.

In a nutshell, here are the results, and what it means for your business:

1. Services – In the past, we’ve done a very high volume of services. Everything from Wordpress design and logos, to articles, press releases, and blog posts. We will continue to deliver these types of services, but on an extremely limited basis. The clients we serve in this capacity will be hand-picked by myself, on a case by case basis.

This will accomplish a couple of very important things: #1 – it will ensure that you receive a phenomenal end-product, with a very quick turn-around time. And #2 – it will allow me to be more involved in the projects that go out the door, ensuring that not only do your materials look great, but they are infused with my experience and knowledge.

2. Social Media Management – I will be taking on Social Media Management clients on a very limited basis as well. We have 25 social media management spots, 20 of which are already spoken for by previous clients. This means we have only 5 seats left. After these 5 seats are gone, the only time we’ll take on new clients, is if someone retires, move to Fiji, or for some other life-altering reason decides to give up their social media management spots (which rarely happens). So if you want to grab one of the last 5 spots, you can apply at http://Platinum7Clients.com. To learn more about the service, go to www.Platinum7SocialMedia.com.

So then comes the answer to the question – “How Can Natalie best serve the market place?”

And here’s the answer:

Based on the feedback from hundreds of people that I’ve personally worked with, the #1 way I can best serve you, is through Internet Business & Marketing training – which encompasses everything from the technical aspects of increasing business, to sales techniques and mindset.

And the best part is, this is what I love doing the most. Spending time with people, one-on-one. Helping you to understand how “all this stuff online” works, and giving you guidance and direction to move forward.

I can’t tell you how many times I hear, “I just want someone to show me how all this works!” or “I feel completely lost on the internet and am not sure what to do!” – or maybe you’ve thought, “I’m doing everything ‘they’ are telling me to do, but I still don’t have the results!”

Well guess what, now you have your way.

Beginning today, I will be focusing primarily on providing Personal One-on-one Internet Business & Marketing Training.

Your Personal Training will be tailored just for you, according to:
1. Your current level of marketing experience
2. How your brain is wired
3. Your business and products
4. Your schedule
5. Your goals

As a personal training client, you’ll have access to:
1. A full hour of training with me each week
2. Specific action plans for you to follow on a daily basis
3. Follow up video tutorials 100% tailored to you and our training
4. Weekly updates specific to your business, from myself and my staff
5. Exclusive services that will not be available to the public

Before each meeting, you’ll be asked to fill out a preliminary form which will give me details of where you are in your business and what I will be assisting you with.
You will be given assignments and action plans each week, to help move you forward.
Outside of our meeting times, myself and my staff will also be providing you with any relevant video tutorials, information and news that pertain to your business.

Wealthy Jedi Mind Trick #1: Do What You Fear The Most

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Hi there fellow entrepreneurial warriors. Yes, we are warriors and this is war. Being an entrepreneur is not for the timid masses. Sound like a cliche? Super. Get over it, and let’s continue. As promised, I wanted to follow up my last post with a series of “Wealthy Jedi Mind Tricks” as I like to call them. This will be a series of calculated actions and processes I’ve used in my own life, to push myself further and achieve more every day.

The first of my 10 ‘Wealth Jedi Mind Tricks’ is to do what you fear the most. Many times I’ve found that what we fear most is taking action. Making that phone call, getting that website up, writing that article, starting that business, placing those ads, putting yourself out there. “What if people think I’m dumb?” “What if they think my ideas are stupid?” First off, the only people that will think you’re dumb, and that you’re ideas are stupid, are people who lack confidence in their own abilities. Individuals who are at the top of their game, secure in their abilities, view someone on their road to success, as a victory and triumph.

Pay no attention to negative people, for they are only looking in the mirror, while speaking to you. They simply don’t realize it. But you do, because you’re a warrior and you think like one. Keep in mind that the more successful you become, the louder the losers scream.

So, all of the above is just to say, who cares if some people think you’re dumb, or your ideas are stupid. You don’t. Because you realize that really, they only think that of themselves. They’re just putting it on you.

Okay, so now that you don’t care what the people watching on the sidelines think, let’s move on.

I also find that sometimes we don’t take action because we are worried we will fail. Well, here’s the bottom line. You don’t get to be successful without failing. Just hurry up and take action, and the faster you fail the faster you’ll succeed. How will you ever know what works if you don’t try anything? How will you ever know what an enormous outrageous all-out-massive-success-story you will be, if you never take action? You wouldn’t.

But that’s not you my warrior friend. You take action like your life depends on it. Because you know what? Your life DOES depend on it. The life you dream of each night when you sleep, depends on you taking consistent action each and every day towards your dreams.

As a warrior, you know that action is king. It bears worth repeating: ACTION IS KING. And often times, the things you fear the most, are what will bring you the greatest success. Not only for completing the actual action, but what’s more important is that you’re conditioning yourself in the core of your being to realize, that what you feared, was indeed not even worth fearing in the first place.

Taking action on what you fear the most creates a confidence and fire within you, that cannot be achieved any other way. In an instant, your entire world changes. What you previously thought impossible, you now know, is ‘already in the bag.’ It’s done like dinner. You know you will have it, and as a result, you do.

We each have our own battles every day, but understand the most important one, which takes place in your head, is only a game. And since you’re the only player, you choose who wins.

See you on the front line.
