Happy Holidays!
Whichever wonderful holiday you’re celebrating, I hope you’re going all the way! With snow angels, cookies, trees, food, family, traditions, laughs and the whole “shabang!” And if you’re someone who’s far away from family and friends this holiday season, I want to send you a big fat bag of happy holiday thoughts – send me a note and I’ll write back!
I’ll be heading to Vail with my family Christmas Day. It will likely be the best day of the year as no one is on the mountain (so shhh…. don’t tell). Then we’ll come in after skiing and snowboarding to get warm, open Christmas presents and have a oh-so-tasty Christmas dinner.
Of course the holidays are a great time to unplug, unwind, be with your family and be grateful for all your blessings. But if you’re already gearing up to make 2010 one of your best years yet, stay plugged into Social Media over the holidays. This is probably one of the best opportunities you have to increase your visibility through Social Media by tweeting, uploading photos, and letting the world know what you’re up to. Why? Everyone has more time to be online. So while much of the world is hibernating, now is a great time to get yourself out there.
Besides…think about poor Santa Claus. He’s stuck up in the snowy sky with a bunch of animals and Barbies (but he told me he has Tweet Deck installed into the dashboard of his sleigh). So give him some love, and make a tweet with #Santa and tell him what you’re doing (and what you want for Christmas)!
Happy Holidays!
